The Practical Nursing program will provide a curriculum based on the holistic concept of patient care and will provide the students with the necessary knowledge to meet the requirements for licensing in the field of nursing. The Practical Nursing program is a full-time 44 week, daytime program reserved for post-secondary students. The regular classroom hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 2:30pm. Clinical hours will vary depending on the affiliation site. Those completing the 44 week program are eligible to sit for the New Jersey State Board of Nursing Licensure Examination (PN-NCLEX).
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- Must possess a GED or high school diploma from an approved/accredited high school.
- Must take and pass the pre-entrance exam ATI TEAS with and adjusted individual total score of 50.0% or higher.

Within 14 days of taking the test, the individual who has meet the adjusted individual score of 50% or higher, must submit a completed application form, (the form will be given to you on the day of the test) copy of your test scores, a copy of your High School diploma or equivalent, a copy of your CPR/BLS for Health Care Professionals and a $50.00 non-refundable registration fee, checks can be made payable to CMC TECH.
Taking and passing the test does not guarantee acceptance into the Practical Nursing program. Please contact the adult education office at 609-380-0243 for a program packet.
