POSITION:
TEACHER OF ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE AND SUSTAINABILITY
(Anticipated opening for the 23-24 school year)
QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Valid New Jersey Agriculture or Environmental Services
Certificate or eligibility
2. Holds or is acquiring Drone Part 107 license
3. Holds OSHA 10 Certification
4. Demonstrated knowledge of subject specialty and
effective teaching methods
5. Ability to maintain a positive learning environment
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills
7. Meet the health qualifications required of all personnel
8. Required criminal history background check and proof of
U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status
9. Current residency in New Jersey, approved residency
waiver or candidate agrees to obtain residency within one
year of employment

Successful candidates will possess deep understanding of
sustainability, the ability to communicate effectively and to educate
and inspire students, a dedication to collaboration across
disciplines, and a desire to establish collaborative relationships with
all stakeholders, community members, advisory board members and
organizations that will support sustainability.
