POSITION:
SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST

QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Valid New Jersey School Psychologist certificate

2. Master’s degree from an accredited institution

3. Meet the health requirements of all personnel


Job Description::
1. Responsible for providing school-based counseling to those students with that related service in their IEP and completing monthly SEMI reports.

2. Complete training for HIB (harassment, intimidation and bullying) investigations and conduct individual interviews for cases assigned to you

3. Attend selected Intervention and Referral meetings (dependent on reason for referral).

4. Attend transition meetings at sending districts for those students anticipated to be on your caseload

5. Attend weekly CST meetings and send agenda items

6. Responsible for organizing case management loads, new referrals, evaluation and re-evaluation for caseload of the Child Study team.

7. Responsible for all team members’ accuracy of paperwork and maintaining compliance.

8. Conduct psychological evaluations, complete all records and reports required by State laws and regulations.

9. Consult with administrative, instructional and support staff.
