Early Childhood Development
The Early Childhood Development program offers students the opportunity to study the development of children from conception through the elementary years, with an emphasis on the physical, cognitive, social and emotional development of the child. The on-site lab school provides hands-on experiences in planning and implementing lessons as well as observing preschool children. This program is a foundation for any student wanting to pursue a career in education or working with children in any capacity. Students have an opportunity to attain their CPR/AED certification upon program completion. Additionally, students are eligible in this program for work based learning opportunities at various preschool sites within Cape May County.
