WELCOME TO THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR!

Dear Cape May County Technical School Community,

Welcome to the Cape May County Technical School District! Our academic and vocational programs continue to flourish thanks to our partnerships with higher education institutions, businesses, local government, and industry leaders. Our dedicated staff and administration are committed to providing an exceptional learning environment where students are deeply engaged in their career programs, as well as our sports teams, clubs, and extracurricular activities. Our students leave CMT prepared for successful careers and bright futures.

At Cape May Tech, we believe that success in schools extends beyond test scores. This is why we collaborate closely with businesses, advisory board members, and industry experts. Our district offers specialized training in our career and technical programs, enabling students to earn industry-recognized certifications as well as participate in dual enrollment and AP courses. Additionally, students have opportunities to participate in internships and work-based learning experiences during their high school years.

I encourage all parents and guardians to stay actively involved in your child’s education and to take advantage of the various resources and opportunities available at Cape May Tech. By working together—educators, students, families, and advisory board members—we can ensure that our school remains a place where academic and vocational excellence, character development, and personal growth are at the forefront of everything we do.

Over the last three years, CMT has undertaken several major construction projects, and we are excited to announce that our new 240-seat conference center, seven hotel rooms, media center, and school-based cafe, The Perch, are now open! Please check our website for updated menu and cafe hours. During the 2024-2025 school year, our expansion projects will continue with a focus on our new 100-seat Esports Arena, as well as our new Environmental Science, Marine Maintenance, Electrical, and Veterinary Science classrooms and shop areas.

On behalf of the Board of Education, our Administrative Team, and our CMT Faculty, we wish our students a year filled with academic and vocational achievement, discovery, and countless moments of CMT Hawk Pride!

Sincerely,

Jamie Moscony, Superintendent
