- Create and Implement a 5 Year Strategic Plan which is focused on increased rigor, innovation in academic and CTE programming, and alignment with NJSLS Standards and emerging best practices.
- During the 2022-2023 school year, CMT will continue to provide opportunities for all staff to improve instructional practices by providing monthly professional development workshops as well as “flip” monthly staff meetings to create additional professional development opportunities.
- CMT will increase the number of students participating in after school academic supports such as tutoring, School Based Youth Services (SBYS) and Hawk Squad by 10%.
- CMT will increase the number of students participating in Work Based Learning by 25%
- Through school wide committees as well as department meetings, Cape May Tech (CMT) staff will collaboratively analyze performance data to inform instruction and goal setting.
- To build teacher capacity in the effective use of instructional technology with an emphasis on the use of digital learning tools such as Powerschool, Naviance and Google Apps for Education.
- During the 2022-2023 school year, all case managers will fully participate and implement Person Centered Transition Planning.
- Utilize SIS to include additional resources for parents & guardians such as welcome opening day forms, permission slips, Free and Reduced Lunch Forms and other pertinent information.
- Continue to provide ongoing professional development with regard to digital tools, communication devices to families, staff, and students during the 2022-2023 school year.
- To adopt cyber security protocols such as multi factor authentication that is aligned with CISA Best Practices and offer targeted training to staff to prevent ransomware infections, phishing and other cyber threats.
- To adopt, implement and utilize an alert system for emergencies capable with both district devices and staff member’s personal devices.
- Continue to work with the architect and all stakeholders to implement the grant for expansion and renovation of Cape May Tech through the Securing our Children’s Future Bond Act.
