How to Apply to Cape Tech

All students who are residents of Cape May County at any grade level may apply to the Technical High School. Applications are reviewed with a focus on the following:

  • Academic Transcript and/or Report Cards
  • Attendance Record
  • Standardized Test Scores
  • Discipline Record

Admissions Process

Step 1.

Complete the High School application.

Step 2.

Upon receipt of application, the Admissions Office will email an acknowledgement to the parent/guardian of applicant.


Step 3.

Once a complete application is received, the Admissions Office contacts the student’s school and requests copies of the current school year and previous two school years of the following: academic transcripts and report cards, if transcripts are not available; attendance records; standardized test scores; and complete discipline logs/records.


Step 4.

The Admissions Committee reviews and provides a decision on the applicant’s admission request to the Admissions Office, a letter with the decision is mailed to the parent/guardian of applicant.
