This is an opportunity for parents, Special Education Parent Advisory Group (SEPAG) members, school and district staff, and community members to come together to network and exchange tips, tools, and strategies to build collaborative partnerships that benefit students and their families. Partnering with Families through New Jersey Tiered System of Supports - February 8, 2022
Time: 3:00 PM
This session is designed to provide a description of how parent engagement should be embedded within a tiered framework. This session will include a keynote address followed by a panel discussion including state level coaches, school district personnel, and keynote speaker Kim Breen, National Education Consultant with SWIFT Education Center.
Essential Components of the IEP - February 16, 2022

This workshop provides participants with a review of the essential components of an Individualized Education Plan (IEP). As a result of this workshop, participants will better understand the IEP document and the parent's role in the development of an IEP.
NJ Resources and Options for Families - February 22, 2022

This workshop will discuss resources and information SPAN can provide to families as well as various other organizations and agencies that help families.
